Yanilomo is a local crew board for short films. Your projects stay on your device. We do not run user accounts, cloud sync, or Yanilomo servers that receive your crew lists.
This policy explains how Yanilomo ("the App") treats information when you use it on iPhone or iPad. Yanilomo helps you lay out empty crew roles, search and pin people, compare credit walls, and export a one-page crew sheet.
The App is designed to work without registration. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not sign you in, and we do not sync projects with iCloud or any Yanilomo backend.
Yanilomo does not operate a service that collects or sells your crew board. In particular, we do not:
Information you type into the App (project names, loglines, tags, casting notes, manually entered names) is stored on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
The App does include third-party advertising and measurement libraries, listed under Device permissions. Those libraries may receive device and advertising identifiers when a permission allows it. They do not receive your project list, casting notes, or cover photos.
The following stays in the App's local storage on your iPhone or iPad:
Poster and still images from TMDB may be cached on disk so the App loads faster. Clearing the image cache removes those files. It does not delete projects, pinned people, or covers.
When you search people or titles, open a credit wall, or load posters, the App requests public film and television data from The Movie Database (TMDB), including names, biographies, posters, and credits. Those requests go to TMDB's services, not to a Yanilomo server.
TMDB may receive standard technical information that any HTTPS request includes (such as IP address and device/user-agent details) under TMDB's own terms and privacy policy. Yanilomo does not send them your project list, notes, or cover photos.
Learn more in TMDB's own privacy policy (themoviedb.org/privacy-policy).
Advertising and measurement libraries also connect to their own services to request ads, measure performance, and deliver notifications. Those requests are separate from TMDB. They do not include your project list, notes, or cover photos.
The App asks for a system permission only for the purpose below. You can change these in iOS Settings. Refusing one permission only limits that feature. The crew board still works.
The App does not ask for microphone, contacts, calendar, Bluetooth, or location permission. Advertising partners may still derive an approximate region from the IP address of a normal ad request. That is not precise location, and it is not a location permission.
Libraries that use the tracking permission
Ads are mediated by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource). The network that fills an ad can vary. This build includes these advertising and measurement libraries, which use the tracking permission only if you allow it:
Firebase Cloud Messaging is the library behind the notification permission. Firebase Remote Config may adjust advertising-related settings over the network. It does not ask for a device permission and does not read your crew board.
Partner policies: Google (AdMob and Firebase), Google advertising, Unity LevelPlay / ironSource, Mintegral, Unity Ads, Liftoff, InMobi, Digital Turbine, Chartboost, BidMachine, Moloco, Meta.
If you tap Share, iOS presents the system share sheet. Recipients you pick (Mail, Messages, Files, and so on) receive only what you choose to send. That sharing is controlled by Apple and the apps you select, not by a Yanilomo upload.
If you send feedback, Yanilomo opens the system Mail composer (or the share sheet if Mail is not set up). The message can include your comments, an optional reply address you type, App version, and device OS version.
That email is sent by you through Apple's Mail (or another app you pick). We read messages that arrive at our inbox so we can improve the App. We do not use feedback email for marketing lists.
Because we do not keep a cloud copy of your crew board, we cannot restore projects after you delete them or remove the App.
Yanilomo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it from our inbox.
We may update this policy if the App's features or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
